Conference fees help the OIPC deliver on our mission to provide a coordinated provincial response to the growing threat of invasive plants through the variety of resources and products we create, such as best management practices, grow me instead guides, webinars and training opportunities.
The OIPC will not be increasing our prices this year and in addition to our discounted rates for OIPC members, are pleased to offer discounts for several of our attendees.

The 2023 OPWG conference theme is Building Resilient Communities! This year we will showcase a community approach to Invasive Phragmites management through building resilient communities and broadening perspectives to foster coordinated action towards the control and management of this invasive plant. This year’s meeting will encourage people to work together towards healthy ecosystems and biodiversity in a changing climate. It will provide an opportunity to explore strategies, programs, partnerships, knowledge and research that shape and build resilient management of Invasive Phragmites.

This event will be offered in conjunction with our Annual Ontario Invasive Plant Council Conference which will take place virtually on January 18th, 2023. Together, this unique two-day event brings together professionals and passionate citizens across Ontario and beyond.
